Mac and iPad
On a big screen, reading is the main task: the post takes the wide column and the list stays beside it.
Two columns
On iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro, in a window 960 points wide or more, Feed and Library show the list on the left and the post in a wide column. Choosing another post swaps the column, links inside the post stack in the column with Back, and Close clears it.
In a narrower window, posts open over the list, as on iPhone, and an open post isn't lost when the window shrinks.
Tabs and sidebar
On iPad and Mac, the tabs can become a sidebar, in the same order as on iPhone.
Mac menus and shortcuts
- ⌘N New Post, in the File menu
- ⌘R Refresh, in the View menu
- ⌘1 to ⌘5 to jump between tabs, in the View menu
- ⌘, opens the Settings window
Control-click a comment to reply, see the profile or translate it.
Forms
Signing in, creating an account and writing open in sheets sized like a form, so the list stays in view.
Apple Vision Pro
On Vision Pro, Tably works like on iPad, with the same two columns and the system keyboard. Translation isn't available there yet.
