Tably Pro
Saved posts and offline
Read TabNews on a plane or on the subway. Tably keeps what you open, and Tably Pro downloads the posts you save.
Free: what you've opened
The feed and every post you open stay on your device, so they open without a connection. Offline, the feed says when it was last updated. This copy is a cache, kept apart from your Library: clearing it never touches what you liked, read or rated.
Pro: saved posts
Tap Save in a post, or touch and hold a row in a list. The post downloads with its comment tree and the images in its text, into a folder the system doesn't clean up.
- Library › Saved lists them in the order you saved them, each marked Downloaded or Waiting for a connection.
- Without a connection, a saved post opens from your device with its comments and images. Online, it opens from TabNews and updates the copy.
- Saved posts sync through iCloud and download on their own on your other devices.
Storage
Settings shows how much space saved posts take, with Remove All Saved. Removing a post from Saved also deletes its files.
Images
Images download from the sites where their authors host them, over HTTPS only.
If Pro ends
Posts you already downloaded stay readable. Saving new ones asks for Pro.
