TabCoins and TabCash

TabCoins are how the TabNews community scores what helps. Tably shows them everywhere and lets you rate with them.

What they are

  • TabCoins: every post and comment has them, the score the community gives it. Yours grow when people rate what you publish.
  • TabCash: you earn it when you rate other people's content.

Rating

Use the up or down arrow on a post or comment. Rating someone else's content costs you 2 tabcoins and earns you 1 tabcash. The author gains or loses 1 tabcoin.

  • Your own content shows only its balance, with no arrows.
  • You can rate the same content up to 3 times in 72 hours.
  • If TabNews refuses a rating, for example when you don't have enough tabcoins, the balance goes back and Tably explains why.
  • A rating can't be undone, just as on the website.

Earning your first tabcoins

Rating needs tabcoins to spend. Publish posts and comments that help others, and your tabcoins grow as people rate them.

Your balance

Home shows your tabcoins and tabcash, with how much they changed this week. Tably records your balance each day you open the app and draws the last 14 days as a chart once it has 3 days. TabNews doesn't share history, so the chart starts on the day you install Tably.

What you rated

Library › Rated lists the posts and comments you rated in Tably. Ratings made on the website don't show up there, because TabNews doesn't share them.
